There is no FDA-approved dosing for compounded semaglutide. As a reference, the schedule approved for Wegovy® starts at 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks, then increases every 4 weeks through 0.5 mg, 1 mg, and 1.7 mg, to a maintenance dose of 1.7 mg or 2.4 mg once weekly. Your clinician sets your dose and pace, and may slow increases if side effects occur. Informational only.

Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved. Do not use it if you or a family member have had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or if you have MEN 2. Serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, and severe allergic reactions.
