Who should not use this.
Do not use sermorelin if you have had an allergic reaction to sermorelin or any ingredient in this medication. If you have active cancer or a history of cancer, your clinician will decide whether it is appropriate, because sermorelin prompts the body to release growth hormone.
Possible side effects.
Possible side effects include pain, redness, or swelling where you inject, flushing, headache, dizziness, and nausea. Tell your clinician about any side effect that bothers you or does not go away.
Before you start, tell your clinician.
Tell your clinician about all of your medical conditions, including thyroid conditions, and about every medication you take, including steroids and other hormone therapies.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The safety of sermorelin during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been established. Tell your clinician if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
